Our Deadlock character tier list ranks all 44 heroes by win rate in real matches. In the current meta, Baba leads and Deadman Danny sits at the bottom. Tiers are relative: S is about one standard deviation above the average win rate, D one below. Small samples are pulled toward 50% and rarely picked heroes can't reach S. How the tiers work.

Win rate: wins divided by matches for players on that hero.
Pick rate: share of matches with that hero in them. 12 heroes play each match, so the average is about 27%.
Rank brackets use the average badge of both teams. Most unranked games have no badge, so they count only under "All ranks".

Who is the best hero in Deadlock right now?

In the current meta (current patch, all ranks) the top heroes by win rate are Graves (57.6%), Rat King (56.2%), Paige (55.5%).

Who is the worst hero in Deadlock?

Pocket (44.7%), Sinclair (44.8%), Mirage (44.8%) have the lowest win rates right now. A low win rate can also mean a hard-to-learn hero rather than a weak one.

Which Deadlock hero is picked the most?

Nurse Harrow appears in 62.7% of matches, the highest pick rate of any hero.

Is the meta different at high ranks?

Yes. In Ascendant and Eternus games the top heroes are Baba, Celeste, Kelvin, compared with Graves, Rat King, Paige across all ranks. Use the rank filter above to compare.

Every hero's win rate from recent matches is pulled toward 50% by its sample size, then ranked by how far it sits from the average hero: S is about one standard deviation above, D one below. Rarely picked heroes can't reach S. It updates every hour.
